Terms of use
The rules that govern the use of the www.unifyx.ca website.
1. Acceptance
By using the www.unifyx.ca website (the “site”), you accept these terms of use. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
2. Who we are
The site is operated by UnifyX (“UnifyX”, “we”), a consulting firm based in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. To reach us: info@unifyx.ca or +1 613-286-2926.
3. Use of the site
You may browse the site and share its content for personal or internal purposes, with attribution. You agree not to:
- use the site in any unlawful way;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, accounts or other people’s data;
- disrupt the site, including through large automated submissions;
- book an appointment on someone else’s behalf or provide false information.
4. Informational content
The site’s content, including articles, guides, checklists and case studies, is provided for general information. It is not professional advice tailored to your situation, including accounting, tax or legal advice.
Case studies describe real engagements whose clients are not named; some details are simplified to protect their confidentiality. We make reasonable efforts to keep the content accurate and current, but cannot guarantee it.
5. Booking a call and our services
Booking a discovery call on the site creates no obligation to engage our services, for you or for us. Our consulting and implementation services are covered by a separate proposal and agreement, which take precedence over these terms for anything relating to the engagement.
6. Intellectual property
The text, diagrams, visuals and the UnifyX logo are protected by copyright and trademark law. Any reproduction for commercial purposes requires our written permission.
Odoo is a trademark of Odoo S.A. Stripe and Shopify are trademarks of their respective owners. They are mentioned on the site only to describe the technologies we work with.
7. Links to other sites
The site may link to third-party sites, such as LinkedIn. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or practices.
8. Availability and liability
The site is provided “as is”. We may change, suspend or discontinue it at any time, including for maintenance.
To the extent permitted by law, UnifyX is not liable for indirect damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the site, nor for decisions made solely on the basis of its content.
9. Personal information
How we handle the information you give us, for example when booking a call, is described in our privacy policy.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. The date of the last update appears at the top of the page; the version published on the site is the one that applies.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. The French and English versions are equally authoritative.
12. Contact us
